Shame on me for complete lack of updates. I wish I had a real reason to not have been around so much, but honestly I can’t offer much of an excuse other than I’ve been playing World of Warcraft like a fiend lately.
In all truth though home life has become increasingly laid back, and a complete lack of annoyance makes for a very boring journal. Mostly I find myself trying to come up with things to blog about, but I just end up writing my own fiction stories that I have no interest in posting. Largely due to the fact that they are unpolished drafts and therefore suck.
My online presence has increasingly dwindled over the past month, but I’ve been kicking around a few ideas regarding the launch of a new trading card game. (Everything has been entirely planned out except the card template and the design of the site!) I’m worried about opening a game without a co-owner though, I don’t want to get sick and miss an update and end up letting down all the players. I would rather hand over all the preplanned ideas to someone who I could trust to keep up with the game, but lately every TCG that has opened has closed before the pre-join phase has even started, much to my annoyance. Why do these owners not try to find someone to take over the damned game instead of just letting it die without even offering the players an “I’m sorry!” update?
I have two back up posts for the main blog which I hope to now update regularly on Fridays, one is a list of ways to save some cash, the other is a review for the Kinect Review A Thon. The latter still requires a bit of polish, and has to also be cut down a bit (the draft was over 5 single spaced pages!)
Good news in that I am continuing with my weight loss. The bad news is that my clothes are falling off of me and due to the fact that I am still losing weight I do not want to buy clothes that won’t fit me in a month. Ah… First world problems. I am proud of myself though, and I love the feeling of running uphill and knowing that my arms and legs are stronger now than they have been in my entire life. I’m kicking around the idea of joining a Kickboxing class once my at-home workouts just can’t keep up with me anymore (a time that is approaching at an alarming speed!) Wrestling with Will is a lot more fun now, because he has to resort to using Jui Jitsu or else I can buck him off or wriggle lose. It is even more fun to run up behind him and tackle him because he can’t wriggle lose like I can. Surprise cuddle-tackles for the win! Mwahaha!
All in all I can say that the past few months have been both relaxing and rewarding, and looking back I can say I am very content.
